3D glasses

The office backroom was abuzz recently when Panasonic launched their 3D Full HD TV named Viera... Their ad was in all the newspapers...some with the extra bonus of a pair of 3D glasses.

Prior to that, there was a mysterious advert with just an eerie pair of eyes on a full black page. I asked one of the ladies if she knew what ad that was but she didn't know. My answer came the very next day...

Anyways the free newspaper The Sun was snapped up within half an hour! All because of the glasses... That reminded me of Optimus in the first Transformers movie... Enjoy!

FB names

True story! I've actually had a friend request from a person named 'Bunny Egg' ...until now I still don't know who that person is! And yes, I think I've accidentally deleted one of my friends because he changed his FB name... I wonder if he'll add me back...

Wii Sports

I hope I drew something more in general this time around! Well, it seems like I'm always bullying my skater friend right?! Don't worry, this didn't happen at all...In fact, I'm not even a gamer!

The idea for this strip came about while I was watching an episode of Click on BBC some time back... They featured Wii Sports with its wireless game console...using infra-red to detect movement... Also featured was the future of wireless 3D gaming...with those 3D glasses...

It's really amazing how technology has advanced so much...I still remember the early games with Nintendo and Sega... (Yes, I'm that old! ) And also movies with virtual reality concepts....The Matrix...etc

I also remember a gaming arcade which had the first few "virtual reality" machines ...it kinda looked like capsules (once inside you really feel like you're in the vehicle or something like those air plane pilot simulation...)...about five of them that links up with one another and the game is about military combat... (Army tanks I think Can't remember that much! ) Actually I think that was the start of network gaming as well... Counter strike etc...

Now with the future of 3D gaming it's like you're in/ part of the game itself... Almost like The Matrix...Avatar... Thinking about it just makes me wonder even more... Imagine really "being" in a game ... Can be scary and crazy at the same time...

Oh well, I just we should just enjoy the ride...erm...I mean the game!

The real Slash rocks

Yup, Slash was in town...He performed at the Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon on Fri. I should have drawn this earlier as the concert advertisement was in the papers weeks before that... But the idea only came after reading his press conference on Fri itself ...Slash said he loves the wildlife in Malaysia...

Going back to the comic strip...I've entitled it so as I felt it might mislead some... I showed my mum the comic and she said it might get me into trouble with a lawsuit or something... or his fans might kill me...

The actual idea was sort of my skater friend trying to dress up as Slash but failing miserably... So I hope it didn't run far from that...It's like someone trying to dress up like their favourite rock/pop star but they're not 100% the same/ good as the original... Slash, Slash fans...I apologise if you feel offended in any way... I will try to draw something more in general the next time...

Eminem's "The real slim shady" song comes to mind now... "Will the real slim shady please stand up, please stand up.... Dress like me, walk, talk and act like me...but it's not me..."
