Have you ever gotten any life advice from anyone? I'm sure you have. Maybe your mum, grandma 
or even your close buddies. 
One life advice that I have been holding onto these past few years was that given by an ex-colleague of mine. Before she left, she told me that no one was ever my friend and that includes her. 
It's quite a b* advice if you take it at face value, but then I gave it some thought and felt it was really worth keeping because in a nasty working environment, you'll need that to make sure you survive every single day. No kidding.

I'm glad and grateful that I left that place as well but now several years later, another new life advice is thrown in my face. Well, not literally of course. 
My lady boss was ranting recently and she came up with that statement which made me think. I guess in this day and age, it is really about the money. Everyone only cares about 
$$$ It's sad but with the current economic situation in almost every country that is the reality.
