This strip was inspired by Dilbert's 21st May 2013 strip. [link] Although Scott Adams's joke was slightly different, it just made me think of the many ppl here in the Imperial Palace... which are hired and good for nothing...except for sending useless e-mails to "show" that they're doing work.

Abuden is largely a Singaporean slang which stands for: "Ah, but then?!!" The expression is similar to kind of thing.

Yeah, so it happens on a daily basis... Will have part 2 drawn soon... I hope! Sorry, it's been really long since I've drawn anything. Been AWOL/ MIA in my Miss Kacang series as well as the coloured sketches. A lot has happened online and in real life since then. Will write it down if I feel like it... Hope everyone's doing well.

Job-hunting perils

It's been 6 months since I left the Imperial palace... been to countless interviews but not successful. Very very tired... Money is tight as well... I really dunno what to do.

Pray also seems no answer. I wonder why God has blocked every door...what is it that he wants me to do? So so tired.

Year of the Snake

Yup, Chinese New Year is coming and the Year of the Snake 2013 is slithering in... Just a silly idea that came to mind... It was more of Cobra Commander and Woody's "Snake in my boot" at first... But then Astro, our local cable operator came up with Ulala (pronounced ooo-la-la) Which also means Ular-lar (Ular is Snake in Bahasa Malaysia) Thought it works pretty well altogether

Prey

Yeah, unfortunately for those who were scammed... It really sucks when you're in a desperate situation others will take advantage of it. But that's how the world works in many a time... We see shortage of essential items like cooking oil, sugar, rice...and there will be traders who mark up the price of the items.

And so, I received a direct tweet asking me to visit their link and follow the instructions as they would like me to work for them... I really wanted to believe it was real... I mean, it really is nice for once that someone responds by saying "We want you!" instead of the usual "I will call you" or rejecting your online application on Jobstreet with "Unsuccessful"

It's back to the drawing board for me... Will write about it later maybe...

And no, the world didn't end on the 21st December 2012.
