Digi 1 Mascot

Well, actually I still don't quite get the new Digi's advertisement. I'm guessing that their lowest rate of 1 sen for sms is too good so everyone is abusing it/ him.

Anyways, I'm also guessing that their 1 mascot concept must have derived from the 1 Malaysia concept in the first place. Now it's just reversing the idea. How clever is that?!

Up, up and away!

I seem to be having movie themed strips recently.

Disney Pixar's Up opened yesterday...hopefully will be able to watch 'Up' this Saturday. (Not The Saturday's Up song! ) (Okay, lame joke. )

It just reminded me of Mary Poppins.

And...if anyone noticed, I changed my sig... decided to use 'Di' now...it seems that most of my online buddies call me that... Ha.

Fantasy vs. Reality.

Sorry for the long absence. Wasn't inspired to draw anything lately until yesterday... I was lazying on the couch and came up with several ideas Wonder if that's what they mean with creative juice flow...

Fantasy~ Am sure most of you would have seen G.I Joe. Snake eyes is my fav! Secretly, I wish he was my bf!! But sorry girls, Ray's already taken. So, here's a cutesy version of him...

Reality~ H1N1 is all over the world...I saw a pic of a Chinese official using the thermal scan and thought it would go well with the Joes.

Banner Wars

When I saw these two durian stalls I knew I had to draw them! I'm not kidding, these two fruit stalls actually exist. I tried to take photos but my mum and grandma said 'no' just in case these stalls are operated by ahem...the underworld ppl.

Anyways, durians anyone??!!

Shopping trolley

I wonder if this has ever happened to you?

Well, this happened to us some time ago. My mum was confident that no one will take our stuff but only to find that the shopping trolley/ cart was taken instead! Anyways the story goes on as my mum spotted a cart further away with a few items in it. She thought it was that lady who stole her cart so she took that cart and dumped the items out.

Then I heard the lady saying, "Hey, my cart! My cart!" My mum was so furious at that time she didn't bother and just pushed on... I was like !!

It was only a few weeks later when my mum realised it wasn't that lady who stole our cart. It was one of the supermarket workers who was so damn lazy to get a cart outside so he just took ours and used it to transport the stock/ items to be stacked. After all, who would want to lift a 10kg bag of rice out of a trolley in the first place??!!

When my mum was saying on top of her voice that someone stole her cart the worker's facial expression said it all... Yes, he had that guilt face and pretended that nothing happened.

So, lesson to learn? Guard everything with your life!

Office politics

This is dedicated to my senior who was fired on April Fool's day. No joke! I actually wanted to draw this earlier but never did have the time.

The idea of the arrows came from a Singapore film called, "Just follow law" staring Gurmit Singh. In the film, the arrows were the flying e-mails back and forth the government depts. Thought it would be appropriate for this strip. Hope you guys like it.

Earth Hour

Wookay. I know I'm super late... but what the hey! Here is what came to my mind when I first heard about Earth Hour...

Must say I did make a mistake by drawing the ppl in the second panel almost similar to the ones in the first panel... It looked like the same ppl went out to rob ppl after office hours! So had to add in some words to make it look like a diff group of ppl... oh well. I shouldn't be explaining the comic!! Enjoy!
