My life as a receptionist

A very humbling experience for me... a far cry from my old job...something which I miss now...

Oh well.

But at least I learnt one thing...that is not to look down on ppl with (what society deems it to be) low ranking jobs...

Polka dot luggage?

Well, that was 'what might happen' if I had the extra $$ to burn...

Mum and I were @hypermarket the other day and we were coming down the walk-a-lator and I pointed to mum and said ,"What an ugly looking luggage! Who will buy that??!!" And mum replied, "You-lah!" I laughed and said," How did you know??!!"

Yeah, and actually there were only two left...so it means ppl DID buy it...

So, here it is in drawing...thought it was pretty funny...sometimes I guess we can be like that... or not, maybe it's just me!

Going to work is like...

I've decided to put the date on my drawing as when I sketched it, rather then when I inked it. After all, it doesn't really matter 'cos nobody's gonna bother too!

Yup, that's what I feel like when I go to work. My colleagues pestered me to draw them as comics too... esp. the Indian colleague of mine... I really should consider drawing all of them... as...maybe the ??

Oh yeah. They saw me doodling in the office. Who cares? I miss drawing.

Police on rollerblades

I saw the news on CNN last Sun...and I thought it would be a nice strip for Miss Kacang...

According to the news report, the police decided to go 'green'. So, they were given in-line skates. None of them knew how to skate at first, but after 1 month they're almost pros!

I still have a chance to learn, eh?!

Dunno bean

This happens when you have a sibling shouting from upstairs and we just say "Yeah, yeah.." when actually we don't have a clue on what he's shouting about!

Just thought it was a good idea to share... I'm sure it happens to you out there too, aye?!

p/s: And yes, that's me eating ice-cream...

Potatoes instead of rice

Delayed a week. Sorry, been busy. Anyways, this is my response to an article in the papers last week...My mum read the article to me and the first thing that came to my mind was the "potato song.."

I always remember that song from 'Full house' (Yeah, that show is like yonks ago ) It was during Uncle Jesse's wedding, and I remember Bob Saget asking the ppl there to sing while the bride arrives or something like that.. Enjoy!

Car, human fuel up

Wokay.. I know I said I wasn't going to draw anything on the fuel price hike thingy...but I just had this idea one day~ that humans also consume 'fuel' but in a different context...

Yup, car and human fuel prices are up... now back to basics...prehistoric maybe?
