Two Worlds

:bye:

We've finally reached the last strip of him... :phew: Haha, I know... you guys must be getting fed up by now... and saying, oh come on just move on... :movingon: Well, some people move on really easily and quickly... but I'm not one of those type of people unfortunately... :(

As you already know, we are from two different worlds... one is day, one is night... Sometimes I feel like it's a parallel world or something... It does seem impossible for one to cross into the other... :earth:One would have to give up everything and move to the other world on a spouse visa to start a new life together. When he told me that he wanted to live with me... I thought he was joking at first, but when he sounded serious I took him seriously after that.... only to realise he was just saying those sweet things as a way of him escaping his reality of life there.

In this day and age, it isn't impossible actually... we have heard of stories where couples met online and got married... Those are really the rare ones. I did some reading on this subject and found out that 90% of these kind of relationships do not work out. Sadly, yeah. Because most of the guys are the "damage case" type. I read many articles where the females were willing to give everything but in the end the guy was just being a jerk... either they are just playing from one girl to another, or that they have an emotional problem where they were previously damaged by a prior relationship.

So this ends this chapter of my life... Thank you for still reading this.... :thanks: Hope everyone is doing well. See you soon with happier strips hopefully... :)

Ghosting

:crying:

I saw Jay Shetty's video on ghosting some time ago ... It was so true. In our age of digital media, social media... we get attached so easily online... and it is also so easy to disappear online. :invisible:

There are many reasons why people use other people... like Jay described... they are lonely and wanted someone to chat with... I felt that video described my whole encounter with this person. He was online because he worked long hours and by the time he got home, it would be really late. He was lonely, as his relationship of five years was gone when the girl left him and married someone else. He was having many real life problems and that's how he ended up online trying to pass his time. :pc:

I don't know how or why I met him and got so attached to him... Maybe he was a really good player, maybe I was lonely too and didn't realise it... He became part of my life and it felt so real... I wouldn't even dare to call it relationship now as it now seems that he was just playing with my feelings... He was only in love with himself, his problems, his ex and even his high school sweetheart.

The times he called me and we talked for hours was because he was lonely and missing the times he had with his ex... when he got home there would be someone there to talk to him... and then we listened to music together, Goo goo dolls... I thought it was something special between us... but in reality, he was just reliving his happy times when he was back in high school with his classmate. They used to listen to the songs together, walking home and watching sunsets in the park. :sun:

Yeah, I know... how could I have ended up in such a situation... I don't know. Maybe I cared too much for people who I meet online... I'm just really upset that I was used just for his entertainment and then dumped when I was no longer of use. I never was once his priority. He never cared about me, his number one is himself, his mum, his friends. He recently deleted his Discord and Disqus account... I tried to send him some text messages on Skype but he never replied. I deleted those messages feeling embarrassed with myself. :ashamed:

So I got ghosted. Watching Jay's video, it was comforting to know that many out there have also been in the same situation... It is clear that guy was only using me to fill in his lonely time, to fill in the gap... and he dropped me like it didn't even matter at all. I have been like a wreck since it happened. I can't tell you how much pain I felt inside... crying and wondering if it was really all my fault.... or that I'm such a horrible creature that nobody wants me...

I hope you guys wouldn't be caught up in this kind of situation ever.

Water cuts

Last week there was a major water supply disruption, which affected almost close to 5 million people... :omg: I'm not kidding, it was reported in the newspapers, social media and even forwarded on whatsapp messages. :mobile: The water company was doing some upgrading work hence the water cuts. To be honest, it has become such a norm that almost every year (even every other month) there will be water cuts. So much that they even ask the public to check their website for updates. :wtf:

As preparation they advised the public to store water for a few days... In comes the water container prices which will skyrocket because of the high demand... it would be sold out almost everywhere... Kinda like a mass panic... :onfire: Sometimes I wonder if it's a conspiracy between the water company and the water container suppliers.... they would make a profit during times like this otherwise their products will just sit there collecting dust.

Anyway, the reported water disruption is all done... for now... until the next one. :ohmygod:

Syabas (our local water company name) means "Well done" in the Malay language. The irony.
